Family awareness is the first line of defence. Safety does not begin when danger occurs; it begins beforehand—with information shared, awareness developed, and the right action taken to make a difference. In line with this approach, the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy continues to organise a series of awareness sessions aimed at promoting safe behaviours, in conjunction with the Year of the Family. As part of the “Your Safety Is Our Priority” campaign, these sessions focus on the safe use of gas systems during the summer, when awareness and preventive measures become increasingly important. Because knowledge will always remain the first step towards safety.
